Benefit Dr. Feelgood Mattifying Balm??

I got a sample of this from Sephora and I don't know what it's for exactly. The Sephora and Benefit sites are no help, does anyone have a clue? Is it a moisturizer?

I think it's for shine on your face.  I've had some from mary kay that you wear under your make-up that keeps you from getting so oily.

i got a sample of it too, and was also confused.  i used it a few times, after moisturizer, before makeup (i use bare minerals).  i didn't really feel like it did anything for me, but it felt nice.

I use a lot.  I use it under my day make-up as like a primer, and I also think of it kind of like compact powder.  It helps with shine during the day.  I like how it makes my skin feel.

Thanks all. I just emperimented and it totally took the shine away, and I love how it smells.

(the consistancy and the word "balm" had me so puzzled before)
