We got our presents from FH's family today - I unpacked them all and put them under the tree. As I was unpacking them, I saw that the paper on one of mine had a small rip in it. Upon closer (obsessive, scrutinizing) inspection, I'll be damned if it isn't the entire collection of SATC DVDs!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Shame on me for peeking, but that doesn't count right? Can that be my freebie peek?
Are y'all peekers, too? I'm usually so patient ....

im really trying so hard not to peek, especially cuase theres only 1 present under the tree for me (rest are for my boys or other kids in my family) and its from my 10 year old son Marley and i really want to be surprised when i open it. I know its a dvd for sure.....trying not too peek!
so sweet of him, he bought it with his own money with my husband yesterday
GIRL! I opened my presents on SUNDAY, what do you think?
One year my ex bought me a ring I really wanted - i had picked it out so i knew what it was. Every night after he went to sleep i'd sneak under the tree, open it up, and wear it until I went to sleep. I did that for like 2 weeks!
Congrats on the SATC set - I mine - I've been watching it again the past few weeks.
Have fun with the FH home for Christmas - I'm so jealous!

im actually a reverse peeker. i can wait until the cows come home to open my own presents but if im the one giving the present, watch out. i usually end up telling people what i got them even before they open it. seriously, i have a bad habit of buying something and then coming home and going "guess what i bought you today? it's xzy but you can't have it until christmas/birthday!". yeah, im not too fun around suprises.

This is hilarious! I always peeked at the gifts under the tree. This is why my parents only put a few out until Christmas eve! Only once when I was about 10 did I totally unwrap something and put it back together when my parents were out. My mom still admits to peeking as well! The most I do now days is just a shake and weigh.
Girl I am the same way. My grandparents and aunt and uncle always sent down a box and of course some packages would rip in transit to getting to my house and I always use to peak at those. I also use to hold the gift up to the light because some paper is thinner than others and you can see right through it. I made the mistake of telling my bf these stories and so he took all my old sephora boxes and fed ex boxes and wrapped my gifts in those so I wouldn't peak. And took away the wrapping paper so I can't just rewrap them. I hate surprises and he won't give me any hints except which side of the mall he bought one of them on.
I am a big peeker....I found out that when he buys me jewelery he keeps it inteh back of his underwear drawer I keep checking there or under the tree for my present, but i do not think he has gone shopping yet!
hahaha. while i never know what my bf got me, i always know when he goes and buys it. he always comes home with a grin. ususally this is dec. 23rd/24th though.
i'm the opposite too. i am a reverse peeker, i get so excited about giving gifts that i have been known to give them early or blab what i got them.

I never have to peek because I buy all my own gifts. Doesn't exactly make for the most fun Christmas but my husband freaks out at the thought of having to pick something out for me by himself.
