Nope, this isn't about actual barfing

If I have to listen to my co-worker talk to his girlfriend much longer, I will be physically ill.  It's sickening the way he talks in a baby voice to her.  He's always like "I'm sorry"  "I love you baby", but in a soft, girly type of a voice.  Picture Sully from Monsters Inc. when he's talking to Boo about going to sleep.  It's the same voice.

He's so obedient to her, you can just tell by the conversations.  Sometimes, he even has his phone up loud enough so I can here HER on the other end.

Barf barf barf.

Okay, got that vent out of my system....for today

Carrie S iam with you, I have a co- worker that talks to her 13 yr son and even her husbad in a babyish way- its hard to explain , and I have to leave the room if she is on the phone One time she made a comment Iam going home to smooch with my boys, maybe its just me but that kinda sounds weird

Oh CarrieS you are SO not alone - I'm glad you posted this!

Hope you don't mind if I vent then:

If I hear one of my (two) co-workers talk about food or Costco one more time, I'm going to scream.  She is obsessed with food, and I hear about what she ate for dinner every day.  She will tell you what a jar of peanut butter costs at Costco versus the grocery store (which is a difference of a few cents, and I could care less).

The other day she screamed out in the middle of nowhere: "GOD I LOVE FOOD SO MUCH!!"

Oh geez, Carrie, I can totally understand.  My coworkers are pretty good about this, but sometimes, I just can't resist the urge to poke fun at them.  If I overhear one of them talking in the baby voice, I'll imitate them, saying "Oh, schmoopie-poo, I wuv you too.  No....you hang up first!  Haha!  You didn't hang up!  Okay, 1...2...3...you hang up!" and I'll just go one and on a little bit just so they get the picture that they're being ridiculous.  But I do it in a nice way, of course.

There is this one lady at work who ALWAYS talks in a baby voice.  So annoying!   There is absolutely no reason for it.  So it rubs off on other people and they talk babyish too.  Like if it's cold outside, a normal person would say, 'damn it's cold out!'.  But they have to say, 'It code out dere.'  whimper, whimper...
