something is wrong with him. he's a 7 yr. old weenie. i love him so much. last night we were sitting on the couch and BF picked him up to put him on his lap and weenie yelped (screamed). we just thought we picked him up in a funny way that pinched him or something. weenie usually sleeps in the bed. but last night he just sat at the bottom of the bed and whined. i picked in up, and he screamed, but then he went to sleep and all was well. when i woke up to take him outside, he went down the steps really slowly. when he was finished he just stood at the bottom of the stairs until i picked him up and carried him. sure enough, he screamed when i picked him up. then he just curled up in a ball on some pillows on the floor that he never sleeps on. i'm so afraid his little weenie legs are hurt. or maybe his back. if it keeps up, we will take him to the vet tomorrow. i will die if anything happens to him.

Sniff sniff for you poor doggie! I hope he is okay. Definitely don't procrastinate though... take him to the vet ASAP. The sooner he gets help/diagnosed the better (this is from personal experience).
Happy thoughts coming your way...

Oh the poor little guy - I hope he's ok! I agree w/the other girls, I'd take him to the vet today, if possible. It sounds like he's hurting. I love weenie dogs - I want one sooo bad.
I'm so sorry. Please keep us up to date on his situation. Can you remember him exerting himself a little more than usual lately? I'll send him warm puppy vibes.
Def. take him in and *don't* let him do any stairs in the meantime. I have a mini weenie and I am constantly on the lookout for any of these symptoms because their backs are so fragile. I really hope he's OK.

Hi. This is my first post. I just wanted to say that this happened to my dog when I was growing up. It turns out, she had a slipped disk in her back, and they put her on steroids for a while. She was only 5, but she lived happily for another 12 years. But definitely take your dog in to the vet.
