what color are your nails?

i'm getting a mani & pedi tomorrow.  i feel like i've been seeing short red nails on TV.  just wondering if real people have red nails or if it's just for TV.  i'm looking for a bit of a change from the boring lt. pink.

I just got a manicure yesterday - usually I get a safe pale pink, but this time I got

I just painted mine red the other day.  I normally never have color on my fingernails (my hands are always a mess), but I'm really liking it.  Short + red = pretty.  Long + red = tacky, IMO.

Right now they are a pale pale irridescent (sp?) lilac with tiny gold flecks.  Toes are light pink.

JJ i love the color you had you nails done in. I think I;ll have to get this one now too.I'm kind of obsessed with O.P.I nail polish especially there red shades.

I have not kept polish on my nails for a few years now.  I'll do it maybe a few times a year at most.  I'll buff them up, but that's about it.

Same here.  I am totally low maintenance when it comes to nails.  I don't like the manicured look though, unless nails are short and clean.

right now i have a coat of black nail polish under  a coat of deep red sparkly nail polish.  the black makes the red look so much deeper.  it is so pretty, i may make it my year round color.
