my dad asked me what i want for christmas, and honestly i have no idea. i really want this bag. but i know that it's too much (plus i think it will be a better gift when i get into grad school). any other ideas?
Is there anything else that you really like but didn't/wouldn't buy it for yourself? Either because it seemed frivilous or you didn't have enough money? Maybe something you thought about getting a while ago but then sort of forgot about or gave up on? Or something kind of practical that you just haven't bothered to buy? Usually when I can't think of anything I either rack my brain for things that I wanted earlier in the year but never bought myself - like those Reform antler earrings which I still love but I keep getting distracted by other items- or something I could really use but am too cheap or lazy to buy - like a really nice frying pan or a high quality mattress pad, both of which were too boring for me to shell out $ for but both of which have really improved my life.
cc -- that's the route i'll probably end up going. i need a dvd player, and never got around to buying one. but i might ask one of my brothers for that. i really, really wanted this draugsvold necklace (the one with the birds) but it's sold out on girlshop. i feel like such a bad shopper.
honey - I think they still have that necklace on Testimo. Also they are one of the vendors at the Market on Mulberry St. You can probably call them to see if they are still selling that necklace at the booth. Although I guess you'd then have to buy the necklace yourself rather than having someone buy it for you. But at least you might not be out of luck! Their website lists stores as well as a contact number.
