Does anyone have any good icing recipes for sugar cookies?  Ive tried making it from internet searches and it never seems to turn out as good as the icing on cookies from the bakery :(

I just mix large amounts of powdered sugar with a small amount of milk.  I know some people would use egg whites instead of milk, but I am scared of raw eggs.  Anyway, making icing like this is good for sugar cookies b/c the icing hardens pretty quickly.  Also, the icing is very very sweet which works well with sugar cookies which tend to be not so sweet.
