Kenra Products...Bex, aclassicbeauty, others...

so after bex posted about kenra products i got interested because i know that she highlights her hair and because she works in the hair industry.  so last time i went to my hair dresser, i mentioned it, and she magically pulled it out.  she JUST bought it to try it.  so i decided i was going to finish my shampoo and conditioner and purchase it (i have way too many half empty bottles).  so, i have about a week left of shampoo and conditioner and i see that aclassicbeauty bought it too!  now i NEED it!!  i know that both you ladies are in the beauty/hair industry....so is the only place to buy it at a place where you need an industry card?  does sally beauty supply sell it?  i don't really want to order it online cuz i don't want to pay for shipping.

also, what do you think of this product, if you've tried it?  i think she uses it too, so i would be interested in purchasing it too...

Okara 2 Phases No Rinse Conditionerthanks for all the questions.  i want to have great products when i get my red color (i just got highlights and she did my old color with a consultation of my new color...)

You can find Kenra at Ulta, Trade Secret and Beauty First.  because it's a professional product, you can't purchase online (or if you do- the guarantee the product will not be validated b/c its a diverted product).

what did your hairdresser have to try?  The Platinum Shampoo and Conditioner?  Just curious...

ohhhhh.  i'm going to ulta today.  what kenra product should i get?  i have been getting highlights since i was 12.  i hate cutting my hair because they always cut it too much, and it takes forever to grow.  should i get the moisturizing one?  i use a deep conditioner once a week.

The Platinum Shampoo and Conditioner is specifically for color treated hair and comes in three regimes (fine/thin, normal/medium and thick/coarse).  I would suggest their IET (Intensive Emoilliant Treatment) as well.  Its their deep conditioner and I it.  After using it 2-3 times per week for about 3 weeks- you should start to see a difference in the health of your hair!

That's really interesting, Bex.

I get Kenra at Trade Secret. I also have the Intensive Emollient Treatment and love it! Thanks Bex for turning me onto this line.

Enjoy your products shopgirl82!
