Philly Sample Sales

I was just wondering if there were any sample sales going on in philly this upcoming saturday (17th), or if anyone knows what websites I could go to, to see what sample sales will be going on, if any.

Also, any stores you could suggest for me to visit would be so awesome

Thanks for your help!

I don't know of any sample sales in Philly-- it isn't a big sample sale city, I don't think that I ever heard of one in the 3 years that I lived there.

I would recommend shopping on Walnut St. between Broad St. and 19th-- fun stores include Burberry, Tiffany, Kiehl's, Anthropologie, Blue Mercury (which sells beauty products), Smith Brothers Jeans and Knit Wit. There are also some nice shops on the side streets, particularly north of Walnut-- Coeur (lingerie) and Leehee Fai were probably my faves. I also liked to go shopping in Old City, particularly on N. 3rd St north of Market St. There are lots of neat boutiques there.

Manayunk is also nice, but it is definitely on the outskirts of the city.

I would also check out http://philadelphia.citysearch.com/find/section/philadelphia/shopping.html? before you go for more shopping suggestions.

I moved out of Philly a bit over a year ago so my info might be a little outdated-- but I think everything should be pretty much the same as when I lived there.
