that have the fingers cut out and then there is a mitten part that you can fold back over your fingers if needed? Boy versions and girl versions at an accessible to NYC chain store preferably- my bf keeps saying how much he likes them, but i know he wouldn't actually go looking for them himself, lol, so i want to surprise him.

i got a pair from h&m a few months ago.  there were in the women's accessories section but are pretty unisex, blue with yellow & maroon stripes.

I bet an army-navy store would have them but I can't think of any off the top of my head. You might have luck on St Marks.

If you don't mind them being a wool-acrylic blend, AE has them



For a girl version, these aren't exactly what you are looking for but I think they are so adorable
