Coverup for sequin top?
Permalink Closed

What do you guys think would be a good topper for a sequin tank?  It's gold and has tiny sequins (from The Limited).  This would be for a dressy event.

All the little shrugs and coverlets and bed jackets out there I see have sequins on them, and I want something sans sequins...too many sequins!!

I recently bought a shrug from there. I'll post a pic in a little bit. It had no sequins and they came in different colors.

ETA: I promise it looks better IRL.

you definetily want to go plain as a coverup...no other competing designs.

Lux Lace Trim Capelet

this top from urban would be nice, obviously not in that color though...! but you get the idea, plain, plain, plain. but still fancy enough with the flowy sleeves for your event. what are you wearing on the bottom, pants or skirt?

maybe a scarf/wrap?

are you looking for something to keep you warm, or just something to cover up the tanktop aspect of the top?

i sorta like this with the gold sequin...i think, maybe it's too much gold. this is from pearl river but old navy has some chinese brocade jackets too now.

Claudia - Thanks for posting a pic!  Is that a sweater?

Relrel - I'm not positive, but I think I'll wear black pants, and maybe gold heels.  I do want something that will keep me warm and as a coverup of the bare tank top.

Thanks!
