I watched the show with FashionPrincess and we were both very excited that Nicole won. I thought she did awesome and looked amazing at the fashion show. The clothes looked like they were made for her!

Nicole looked gorgeous. I'm glad she won. I would have been pleased with any of them. They both did a really good job.

Haha you and I seem to be the only ones that think this!! I loved Nic WAAAAY more than Nicole!! I don't know why, but Nicole just seemed far less focused than Nic and just seemed like she was used to having everything handed to her- she acted really spoiled a lot of time. Not only that, but while she was for sure pretty, she only looked supermodel when she was wearing a bunch of make-up and had her hair done. Any other time, including during judging sessions, I thought she looked really plain and not very catwalk (like Tyra ALWAYS seems to look model-esque). I just thought that Nic ALWAYS looked put together and prepared and ready to pose- she was so serious and determined. PLUS, she KILLED both Bre and Nicole on that commercial!! That's just what I thought though haha.

I read an interesting article about ANTM not that long ago (style section of NYT, maybe?) basically saying that these girls will never be top models because of the fact that they're American. Which makes a lot of sense, as most of the models now aren't from here. And models as a whole seem to be a dying breed anyway, being replaced on the covers of magazines by celebrities.

Nicole was cute and she seemed pretty down to earth, which I like, but I didn't really see any of them as supermodel caliber.

I really like Nik, but I'm happy for Nicole - I liked both of them, so I would have been happy w/either winning. I think they each brought something to the table. Nicole looks like the all-american girl next door, and Nik was more exotic. Good for Nicole - she's a cutie and she looked awesome at that fashion show!!

I didn't really think Nic was all that pretty, so I'm glad Nicole won. When they were doing the shoot with Tyra, Tyra blew Nik away, but when Nicole was next to her, they both looked equally beautifu, IMO.

I am soooo happy that Nicole won! If she didn't make it into the final two, I wasn't going to watch the rest of the show. But my heart was pounding when they were going to announce the winner! Of course I let out a squeal of delight when Nicole won! Nik's walk was too bouncy (like she was trying too hard), and she looked a bit silly when they showed that. Still, none of the girls they have had on the show would ever be real super models, but I will be buying the February issue of Elle Girl magazine since Nicole is in it and want to see how the photo shoot went.

Oh yuck, I hated Nicole. She annoyed the crap out of me. Nik did have a bouncy runway walk, but she was more interesting looking. I can't believe any photographer/designer would want to work with Nicole after seeing the kind of attitude she had towards it all (for example, when they had to be statues, or during the filming of the commercial, or her non-stop whining and complaing...)

I would have been happy with either, because they were both gorgeous and nice girls. I did think Nicole looked awesome on the runway, though, so I understood why she won.

I was wondering - are any of the previous winners doing a lot of work? I though Naima's cover girl commericals during the show were pretty awful.

I have given up on this show. I don't really understand what they are looking for in this show anymore. I really thought Nicolle was just whateverz... and I also find her irritating and cocky. Nic I thought was better but her personality was just blah. I don't know.. this show has definitely lost it's focus.

I know that Elyse did at least some editorial (I think) modelling in Japan, and Yoanna is mildly successful. According to ANTM Eva is the most successful...but I don't know about that! Adrianna was in the real world, so I don't think she ever got too far...Shandi is signed with IMG I believe.

I really thought that Nicole would win when I first saw the contestants, because she sort of has that doll-look that is really popular, (although in hindsight, not to the extent of Kim.) It seemed like this season they weren't looking for a runway model, they barely did any runway challenges, and Brie one of the top three was only 5'7. I think most of the models were 5'7, and 5'8. Weird!
