Help me pick a bag???

Since you're just starting off your collection, I think #1 would make the most sense for you because it's a classic shape on a bag you can give to your grandkids and whatnot. Is it a Speedy 25 or 30? Both serve the same purpose, but just curious.

I like the Almas you've picked, but since it's a more structured bag than the Speedy it does look more business-y. I also prefer the Alma in epi leather...most specifically red. #6 is cute, but I just don't have that instant attraction towards it like I do the other LVs. I don't like the Gucci or Dior logos, so #3 and #4 are out.

my 2 cents...

I like LV for totes but not purses. I love the Gucci logo and just always associate it with more of a classic look. I think it is because I remember my grandmother carrying Gucci (I thought the logo had to do with her name "Gran" haha).

I like 3 or 6...I prefer the damier to the logo print, especially with all the knockoffs around. I have always liked the Gucci Boston though. Although I looove the LV Alma, I am not sure it's an everyday bag.

I prefer the LV speedy too. It's a classic bag that will never go out of style. I like #2, but it may be a little too business-y like Lilykind says. I'm not too crazy about the logos on #3 and #4 either.

TexasGal.. I picked Alma #2 cos I really want one myself and I am drawn to it more than the Speedys even though they are more casual. Are you in H-town? We should go shopping and pick out a bag :)

I voted #3 because a Gucci bag is on my "top 2 list" of bags I want.

I say the LV Speedy or #3 the Gucci. Both are more classic shapes and both LV and Gucci are so classic they'll be around forever. I have the LV Speedy 25 and a Gucci but in a different shape and love them both. But I would go with the LV Speedy for your first investment bag.

I like #5 and #1 cause those are what I would get for myself, but I also find I prefer bags I can wear on the shoulder? The #1 will last you forever I think.
