I find this pretty hilarious. I ended up emailing and arguing w/mags 4 less and finally got them to cancel my Lucky subscription and refund my money. Ever since them, every issue of Lucky since Nov. has come. And I just got my Feb. issue on Sat - which is super early for Lucky!
Go figure that I cancel and now I'm getting it. It says on the address label that my subscription is good through Oct. 06 - looks like I won this battle
Back in August, I subscribed to Lucky Mag. through Mags for Less. It's now Dec. 7 and I still haven't gotten the first issue, I called Lucky to see if they even had my order, and nope - so I'm thinking Mags for Less is at fault. Anyhow, I cancelled Mags for Less and they are refunding my money. My question is, should I subscribe right through Lucky directly? Or should I just buy the damn magazine on the newsstand? It seems like a lot of you have problems w/delivery of Lucky, so I'm just looking for input. TIA!
Buying on the newstand is more expensive, but at least you'd have control of when you got your issue!
Actually, my vote would be to set aside a little chunk of time once a month and go visit Barnes & Noble, have yourself some Starbucks, and read the newest Lucky. Then you still get to read it on your schedule but dumb-ass Lucky doesn't get any of your moolah!

If for some reason they stop delivering your subscription, I'd just subscribe directly through Lucky. It's only $12 for a year and I've never had a problem. Much cheaper than buying at the newsstand.
HA! Honestly, I ordered something like 8 magazines through Mags4Less, and Lucky is the only one I've had a problem with. Whomever works their email CS obviously either doesn't read the emails to begin with, or doesn't speak any English. Their phone reps aren't much better.
Sorry you've had so much trouble .

Ah! I am so jealous! I have also had a horrendous time with my Lucky mag, which I bought via Mags4Less. However, I am being optimistic....after I posted that I hadn't received ANY issues, I came home to find Nov/Dec issues in my mailbox around Dec 20th. Then this past weekend, I just got the Jan issue in the mail....so maybe they are getting a *little* faster?
Tara - I broke down and called them after their email CS screwed up (resubscribed on my behalf when I emailed to ask where my issues where - I had received the first on schedule and had never received the 2nd or 3rd - which in turn messed up my original subscription even more). She said that they were on their way, but that they'd had to be labeled by hand and therefore would take longer to arrive. So apparently peeling a sticker off a sheet and putting in on a mag and tossing it in the mail takes an additional 4 weeks more than doing it with a machine would .
Asshats I tell you ...

OMG - this was hilarious!! I am thinking that the hand-labeler has become more proficient.....I received the Nov issue 1.5 months late, the Dec issue .75 months late, and the Jan issue .5 months late.....see.....the labeler is learning more everyday!!!!

LOL - so if they are on schedule, you should get the Feb. issue .25 months late - haha. I think you should cancel so that you get it more promptly
