These Boots - Please Vote!

As you know, I'm looking for a pair of inexpensive, knee-high, black boots.  What do you girls think of these?



These are from JCPenny and are marked down to $39.99 from $100 - I already have one pair of brown boots from there that I like.


ETA: Here they are on the model (in brown)

I like them.  The heel looks like it would be easy to walk on, and I like the detail stitching.  Are they real leather?

The description says that they have a synthetic upper shaft, but I have a pair of the same brand of boots in brown, very similiar but mine don't have that stitching..I bought them last year and they have held up nicely.

I voted get them, but personally that horizontal stitching a few inches from the top bugs me.

Waahh - I just decided to go ahead and get these boots and they are sold out of my size on the JCPenny website!  My mom went to Penny's today as well, and they don't have my size either


Now what do I do?  Ugh - this always happens to me!
