He doesn't live here with me.  Actually, it's the family dog that's been with us for 13 years.  He's a little MinPin My mom called me (I live 2 hours away) and said that my brother in law was over and that when he opened up the door to leave, Mike just bolted out the door.  I'm so sad.  What if he got hit by a car? Or waht if he freezes to death? My mom said that she tried to go out and look for him but came up with nothing.  Come home Mike!!

Oh, I'm so sorry.  I've been there before.  My cat was gone recently for 2 weeks, and then one morning she just showed up at the door.  She is an inside cat, so I was very worried about her.  I put fliers up everywhere and heard nothing, so I got discouraged, but she came home safe.  Dogs are even better at finding their way home.  Plus, if he's friendly, someone will take him in.  I hope he comes home soon!

oh, poor mike! Does he have a microchip or something? Was he wearing tags? I hope some nice family took care of him overnight. I'd also call the local shelters/animal control, which I am sure you already did. I will say a prayer for him!
