Review: DKNY Kenya Drawstring Hoho

After my last post on which to buy, I decided to get the DKNY Kenya Hobo in Luggage instead of the green Kenneth Cole bag. I bought this bag at Nordstoms during their sale a couple weeks ago, but I had to have it special ordered because the stores in my area had already run out. The total came up to around $200, which is $125 less than what the bag was originally selling for.


When I opened the box it was in, I was so pleasantly surprised! The leather is super soft and pliable, but definitely not thin. The stitching on the bag is also really well done, with no loose threads. Before I got the bag, I was worried that it might be too small, but I definitely didn't need to worry at all because this bag is HUGE! I'm pretty short, so I thought it might overpower me, but since it's so slouchy, the bag doesn't look that intimidating. Oh, and the color is gorgeous! It's like a soft dark tan color, and "luggage" seems a good description of it. The bag also has a great drawstring feature, held by gold hardware, which I love because it makes the bag even slouchier.


I totally see myself carrying this bag around for a long time. It's great! And it holds all my junk! If any of you ladies were considering it, it's really a great investment!

Hey JoceyBaby23! The bag does come in more colors. At eluxury.com, they have a pewter color, and it's on sale!



They did also have a green color and a black, but they're not there any more, so they probably sold out. I'm not sure if this is the same bag, because the measurements don't really match mine. Oh, well.



Oh, and Nordstrom had a dark brown color, but it's no longer on the website. That one also looked great in person. Here it is:
