I used to watch them in high school, and then recently got back into them! They had a marathon recently in honor of their 20th anniversary. Laken, I know what you mean -- I can't believe how risque they are!

Oh, man do I ever!!! I watched GGs the first time they were on tv. That's how I learned what impotence was. I watched an ep. where Rose's boyfriend or date was impotent and I didn't get it. So then I went and asked my mom what it meant. She said, "oh, it's like when someone isn't able to do something. Why? Where'd you hear it?" I told her on Golden Girls and she said "Oh. It means when someone can't have sex." Hee!

I'm even making a shirt for my friend (also a Golden Girl lover) for xmas that has a pic of Rose's face on it and it says "I'm a Rose." I think it's hilarious!

And did I mention I watch it every single morning while I'm getting ready for work? Yes I do. Btw, I'm totally a Dorothy. Even though last year I was Blanche for Halloween.

I love the girls! I loved them the first time around (even though I didn't understand half the jokes) and I watch reruns all the time.

My friends and I refer to them as the girls - a typical conversation is, "What did you do last night after you left the bar? - Oh, just went home and watched the girls."

I love this show. The season two and three DVD's are on my Christmas list. I already have season one. When I was in college (my freshman year), my roommates (there were four of us) and I used to watch it all the time, instead of going to class. And we each referred to ourselves as one of them. I was, ahem...Blanche. But I'm not as, uh, loose as she is. I think I have a bit more control than that.

I like watching this show as well. I remember watching it when I was much younger. Too funny! And sometimes I can't believe the things they were allowed to say on tv, even for todays tv programs! I don't know if they think it's okay just because they are older woman but always calling Blanche a whore, my goodness!

My senior year of high school, I went to Florida with three of my best friends for a week, and we all picked out which girl we were. Two were really easy to pick: my friend from Atlanta who got a lot of guys was Blanche, and my ditsy friend was Rose, and then it was up in the air between the remaining two. I got to be Sophia because I was older and am also Italian, and tend to be sarcastic.
