I am so BAD at Christmas...

I'm basically mad at myself.   Ithink I know what hubby got me.  And my In-laws have been overly generous this year and basically got us our dining room set we are having custom made.  These both would have been VERY big surprises.  I'm mostly mad about maybe knowing what hubby got because I think he tried really hard to surprise me, and angin he was very generous.

WHY can't I just let something be a surprise?!

On the other hand I am having the greatest time picking things out for people this year.  And I must say I think I'm doing pretty good!

I know how you feel.  It is impossible for my husband to surprise me because I always manage to guess.  He doesn't even have to give me hints, I just know!  Because of this I always ask him to buy and wrap little gifts just so that I have surprises to open, but he just doesn't get it :(  Everyone else usually gives us money so I never have surprises.

This year, (well besides secret santa) I am refusing to tell people what I like.  Last year I shopped with my boyfriend for my Christmas gifts.  Yeah it was stuff I actually wanted but not so much fun.  So far this year, I have no clue!

So how do you know? And did you tell him you know, are do you pretend to be surprised? Just asking because I really am stumped but if I wasn't i'm not sure how I would act....

Well I'm not sure, but there is one thing that keeps coming up. It's not something that I would have expected him to get. But it was oof the radar for a bit and now it's back, he brought it up. I'll be surprised if it's what I think it is just for the fact that I really do want it. So all in all that's not a bad thing.

I know how it is, although, in my house my husband and I get eachother things and then can't wait for Christmas so we just suprise? surprise? eacother the minute we get it.

On the other hand, when I was little, my sister and I used to unwrap our Christmas presents and wrap them back up carefully before my parents would get home.  Of course, they eventually found out and stop putting presents under the tree until Chirstmas eve.  That just made it a Christmas present hunt though.
