Kasil Jeans - opinions, experiences - UPDATED with IRL pics
Permalink Closed

Is anyone familiar with Kasil Jeans? I won a pair from Lucky and I'm on the fence about them. When I first looked at them I was not impressed - the back pockets are cute and the wash is ok but the stitching is weird - it's both white and the traditional gold color. I guess mainly white with gold in a few spots. I also assumed they would be way too small. They do fit - barely - and I think they look pretty good but they are kind of painful. Does anyone know if they stretch a lot? Most of my other non-stretch jeans do so I'm hopeful. What do you think of the two colors of stitching?

I could of course sell them on ebay but they aren't going for much - around $40 - and I only have 3 other pairs of jeans. Maybe I'll post a pic of me in them later but I am pretty sure this is the style I got. The insets have a red and black plaid.

OK here I am in them. They are seriously so so tight right now but maybe I'll wear them around the house and see if they stretch.

the wash is darker IRL

Ooooh, I'm jealous!  I really wanted to win that!  I have a pair of Kasil Johannas and I love them.  I bet they will stretch a little bit.  Mine don't have the white thread, but they are really low rise.  I have to be careful that I'm not peddling ass crack when I sit down in them.

If you don't like them tho, I'd go ahead and sell them on ebay.  At least you'd get $40 rather than a pair of jeans you won't wear.  You could put the proceeds toward a pair you like better.

Those jeans look absolutely fabulous on you!  They really don't look tight either.

I don't have experience with Kasil, but I read that jeans normally stretch 1/2 size.  So I would wear them about 3 times before washing them, if you decide to keep.

cc you look really cute in those jeans! definitely worth keeping them. also i know you don't have that many pairs, so it will be good to have them around (even as a backup). and what could be better than winning them and getting them for free!!!

no brainer! keep!

I think they look fabulous from BOTH front and back. And they really don't look too tight either. I hope you keep them.

BTW I am thinking I have those same shoes (or very similar). Are they slingbacks?

Thanks so much for all the compliments! I am going to keep them. They are super tight though. I guess they look nice because I'm skinny but a bad side effect of being scrawny is that when denim is really tight it hurts my hipbones But maybe they'll stretch out some more.
