I still love Balenciagas, so I say yes. And $320 is an amazing price.

But how much do you like it?

I think it's 15 minutes has passed. That said, if you already had it IMO it would be perfectly acceptable to continue to carry it, and what really matters is if you truly like it or not. Be aware that it could look dated before something that was either more classic in style or had not reached such a height of popularity.

Whoa! $230?? are you sure it's a real Balenciaga? that purse normally goes for 1500k

and I this purse is a classic it's been around for years...I don't think it will ever go out of style..

Which boutique? If it is Signature Style then it's probably a knock off. They have those purse parties and "high quality" knock offs all the time.

I'm sure it is real. The website I found the pic on had it for $600. Where I live it is definitely going to be cheaper full price. The price is half off.

ETA: Well I don't know now after reading FP's post- I can't believe these boutiques that carry designers also carry fakes.

It is at Luxe. When I was in there one time getting my eyebrows waxed I noticed it and was surprised they had it. She said they carry a few purses (and this was one of them) and jewelry (along with hair care products and make up). My friend called me tonight and told me all their purses are half off including the one I wanted, which is this one. Hmm I'm so confused now.

Haha so you don't think it is too dated? My thought is I could take that money I would spend on the purse and put it towards another one. Suggestions?

i dont' get why it would be so on sale. sorry if i'm cynical, but its a $1500 purse that i'm sure plenty of people still buy full price. so i'd be super cautious if you decide you want to buy it.

i'm with lynnie and ayo on this one. i cannot believe (if it is indeed real) that it would be on sale for that low of a price.

i love the style of the bag though. so... for $230, real or not... it's a hot bag.

The more I think about I think my friend may have been looking at a different purse and calling in the Balenciaga. I think she was looking at the Botkier Trigger. I know they (the store) carries that purse as well. That one would be more in the right price range. So tomorrow I am going to go by and check. If it is the Trigger what do you guys think of that one?

Yeah, I was going to say that the last time I was there they had the trigger. If that's the one then definitely go for it, it is a hot bag! Super soft leather. Let us know what you find out.

I personally wouldn't want to pay $230, even for a real one, just because everyone and their sister has one (well, knock-offs anyway). I don't mean to seem like a hypocrite, because I have a knock-off from Lush, but when I got it it was because I really liked the style and didn't even know it was so popular. I probably won't want to use it forever, just because it's fairly trendy. IMO, for a trendy bag a knock-off is better.
