I'm having a slight dilemma and I need ST help. I've been on a shopping freeze for so long, I've forgotten what it's like to actually want new, pretty things. Sad, I know. But now it's 1) my birthday in a couple weeks and 2) Christmas!!!
So what should I put on my list? I need small and large things. Friends and family. Any ideas? What's on y'all's lists? I'm thinking I want some pretty clothes and although I could spend a few hours going through my fave online spots (calling anthropologie), which I've managed to avoid for the past few months, I figured you girls would already have a few excellent items on your lists.
*slouchy sweaters (may not be as relevant for Texans)- from victoria's secret
*black pearl studs from Overstock
*yoga mat
*sheets for my bed
*cute boots (something i'll have to pick myself)
not a very exciting list, i'm afraid. i also like, but never ask for, gift cards to places like target, starbucks, amazon, etc...because its sort of the same as money, but if someone gave me $50- i'd try as hard as i could to not spend it on things i needed (not that you need starbucks, but hey, its a nice treat to not have to spend your own money on overpriced $4 coffees). so this saves me a month in bills that i wish i could eradicate from my existence- groceries, basics, etc.
socks cuz i hate hate hate spending money on socks
space bags for our extra bedding/sweater storage
sheets are always a good idea (i also don't like spending money on house things that aren't art or decorative)
mixing bowls (i've dirtied my last shirt with the bowls not being deep enough)
a robe
a scumbuster (it's an electronic scrubbing brush that you can use for your sink or bathtub...cuz i hate cleaning the bathtub)
jewelry (somebody needs to convince my bf that he CAN pick out jewelry..he's convinced that he doesn't know how to pick it out)
wine
gcs....
