ive lived in pennsylvania my whole life but somehow picked up oddball accents. i have been accused of having both a southern and new york accent based on what words im saying at that moment.

so it seems the lower the percentage, the more yankee, the higher, the more dixie?  is that it?  because i don't think it means i'm 26% yankee, i'm a yank through-and-through.

Most of my answers were specific to the Great Lakes/Plains regions or common throughout the US.  I've never even heard a lot of the southern words that were given (I grew up in Nebraska and currently live between Chicago and Milwaukee).

I was born and raised in Arkansas and now live in Louisiana so I'm not the least bit suprised :)
