opinions? bulga bag owners... feedback, please!

okay, i just cannot stop thinking about how i can get this bag for such a good price. i'm thinking i just might have to order it — afterall it has always been my very close second choice to the E.D.E. that didn't work out.

dot: do you know when the 25% off offer is good through?

now i need opinions. do we like it? i've never really considered a bulga before so i need some feedback on the quality etc. and a question for those who own it, does this bag fit under your arm? how much can you fit inside? (that was another thing that bugged me about the red E.D.E. — it was kind of small)

thank you, thank you!

$262, i'd get this plum color:

i bought this one in coral in the spring:

its a gorgeous bag with soft buttery leather- but i don't think it has held up as well as it should have for $300+  It was in heavy rotation until about 2 months ago (so 6 months i used it).

Where the rings are- the leather was glued on and it is starting to come apart and it also shows sign of dirt easily due to the soft quality of the leather.  i asked my leather/shoe guy if he could clean it for me and he was afraid to b/c of how soft the leather was and the overlapping of the hems on the bag.

however, i did get a lot of compliments on it and i liked carrying it b/c it has the slouchy feel to it.

i don't know about the fitting under the arm though b/c of the one i have is different.

but that is my 2 cents about Bulga bags!  for $262- i would probably get it...

I have that exact purple Bulga and I love it.  The leather is super buttery soft and the color is a deep purple.  The bag is pretty big and can easily hang under your arms.  I'm 5'4" and it's the perfect size for me...I love larger bags for carrying around all my junk.  The edges of the pieces of leather are raw (just cut) but there are seams holding it down so I wouldn't worry about it fraying too much or anything.  I've had mine for about...4-5 months and it's holding up great.  I get lots of compliments on it too.  I paid about $350 for mine and I think $262 is a freakin steal!

i have the large style eggplant one (same size as bex) and it holds so much without being overwhelming.  the color is beautiful and the quality is amazing!  i wouldn't worry about the edges at all.  i am so abusive to my bags and the bag has held up really really well.  it has no scratches or anything as of now.
