hair style help **update**

**update** so I got it cut last night. He said that he'll do that razored short one on me in the srping/summer, but that it would dry my hair out too much right now. But he said that he thought that it will look super cute on me. I ended up getting something similar to this style, but more angled in the front. I'm really happy with it- it managed to be really cute but polished/professional at the same time.

OK, I'm super bored with my hair and want to cut it now that I don't have any more big events coming up. Can you post some cute shorter styles that you think would look good on me? I want to go somewhere between jawbone and shoulder length and want some thing that will make me look a little older/more professional (right now I kind of look 15...)

I don't have a good recent pic that shows my hair and face, but:

here is one that shows my face shape/skin coloring

and one that shows my hair coloring a little better (right now my hair is about 2 inches past my shoulders) (oh, I'm the blonde in the teal shirt if you couldn't figure it out)

ETA: attachment of seconf pic in case it isn't workign for anyone else

I think it would look really cute a few inches shorter and layered, sort of like Reese W in this pic:

I like this! Do you think the bangs would make me look too young? I'm kind of scared of them sine I wore my hair like that as a little kid... Does anyone have pictures of this style from a different angle, or know what I should tell the stylist to do?

so I have an appointment Thursday and still haven't made up my mind. What do you think about something like this one me? What would I ask the stylist for?

I've had mine in a longer version of this for about 2 years:

It was super easy to style.  I brought in a similar pic and told the stylist I wanted a grown-out version of this - she cut the whole thing with a razor.

I think you would look good in a haircut like a Reese's.

On another note, I used to have red hair like that picture ^ I really do miss it

Razors make my hair FREAK OUT, so I'd be careful and go to a stylist that you trust.  Razors do a great job at getting that kind of jagged line, but my hair is thick and it's somewhat coarse and not entirely straight, so it makes my hair look really wiry and weird.  It's a cute cut, but just a word of caution about razors.  A good hairstylist will be able to give you the same look with scissors.

I don't think so. I think bangs actually make me look older. This is different than a little-kid haircut, though, because the ends are layered to give it movement, so it's not a bowl haircut. I am not good about hair terms, though. Maybe erin could help you? Here are more pics. I believe these are from InStyle's November (?) issue

here's one

and another

I'd be a little wary of razoring if your hair is too thick -- it looked weird on my sister, who has thick, straight hair. The girl in the photo you posted seems to have much thinner hair than you do.
