Boring Business Suit Help!

You all have such great suggestions, I'm hoping you can give me some ideas for this suit (its a dark brown and khaki color in case you can't tell form the pic).  I typically wear it with a seamless cream colored cami and brown heels -- soo boring!  How can I add some color to this suit?

try red, dark purple or teal instead of brown and cream. perhaps also textured tights (might interfere with texture of skirt?) and matching heels/tstraps. i really really like the red with brown and cream. perhaps something like this:

i think that you can take that suit in a lot of different directions colorwise, as long as you say in the darker realm, no pastels or light blue/green/pink colors.


yellow would look pretty too with that suit, and you could still wear your brown pumps.

I agree with relrel I think dark purple or a dark red/burendy color would look good.I also think that a coral or rasberry/fushia kind of color would look good with it too.

I love the idea of aqua & purple with it - that was my first thought - but I love all the other suggestions as well. When I have something that I think is "boring" I usually add some fun shoes or jewelry to add color & interest to the outfit.

Maybe Target still has those purple suede-ish shoes? I know they were in the clearance section of my local Target last week...
