My best friend just asked me to be the godmother to her baby girl. What is an good gift for this occasion for the child? TIA! She is Methodist if that helps.

I don't really know anything about Baptism ceremonies, but the first thing that came to my mind was a bracelet with her name engraved on it... although, if you only have tomorrow that might be difficult. Some kind of bracelet would be appropriate though, it's not necessarily for her to wear, but to look back on and see some of the things she received as a baby (and if she can wear it when she gets a bit older, then all the better) Here's an idea, these are called "blessing pearls":
