Anyone else hear about this? This was in the local paper today. Its the first I'd seen on it and thought they actually weren't getting along too well.


 


Stork alert for Jessica?


Star magazine reports Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson are parents-to-be, with the singer-actress about six weeks along. (Quite a change from autumn's divorce rumors; in any event, there is no official confirmation from the principals.)


Star quotes a friend who reports the couple told his mother first with a surprise phone call. Other evidence of a stork arrival: Simpson has added 25 pounds in the last five or six weeks.

Sheesh, just because dear Brit-brit gained 25 lbs before/early in her pregnancy, DOES NOT make it normal and to-be-expected for every other blonde pop starlet!  And, six weeks along is still veeeeeerrrrrry early - it seems like a celebrity who's hyper-aware of the media would take a bit more care to keep it under wraps for at least a couple more weeks, no?  If she is in fact 6 weeks along, it's extremely unlikely that she's even had an ultrasound yet!  Bah!

I hope she does not procreate. She's so vapid.


But 25 lbs for a six-week pregnancy? Either she's having quintuplets or that's too much weight, no?

I thought she was on a strict diet, so maybe she was like "...pregnant..? DOUGHNUTS!!!!!!" and gained 25lbs?
