help! my shoes are too big!
Permalink Closed

A few weeks ago I bought these brown leather Seychelles wedges.  I usually wear an 8, so that's what I ordered, but I'm thining they're a little big as my feet keep flying out of them.  Is there anything I can do?  I've shoved toilet paper into the toes and that seems to help a little bit.  I just don't want to be "that girl" that tries to return a pair of shoes she's already worn.

Get a thick pair of Insoles (the full foot kind) and see if that helps enough to keep them on your feet.  Hope it works !

insoles are a good idea as lmonet suggested. if it continues to be too big, try adding rubber or suede heel guards. they are particularly effective in preventing heel slippage. i have them on a lot of my shoes.

You could try selling the ones you have on ebay & buying a 1/2 size down?

Ooh, where do I get these?  If the insole idea doesn't work, I'll definitely try this.  I would sell them on eBay, but I doubt I could get as much for them as I paid.

I've gotten the heel guards at Payless, but I'm sure Target/Rite-Aid/etc carries them too.

Do they look that worn?  Return them.  You don't want to be "that girl" who's shoes are too big either.
