This is my new family member he was free , he is @ a year and half and very tame although he is a little skiddish with us still. But Iam sure in a few days he will be okay. His name Houdini and I saw this ad on our post office ad board and I called and went right over and got him I used to have one a long time and he was tame , name was thumper because he would always have his back foot thumping. Iam so happy i just want to go squeeze him right now
well thunder wants to get him no doubt @ that i will just have to make sure the bunny is outside in cage when thunder is in the house and if bunny is outside make sure thunder is in his fence yard- i love my bunny so much
thanks laken 1 yes I found that out- that little toot, when he is out I shut off the bedroom doors so he is the living room- kitchen study with me. He already has his spot behind the end table in a tight corner where it is hard to get him out
So adorable! I had rabbits when I was little and they are great pets but definitely be careful because some of them do love to chew wires.
Also not to be a downer but even if you keep them separated you should try to get him used to having other pets around. I knew someone who kept his rabbit in a cage in the basement most of the time and one day a neighborhood cat got in and I guess tried to get at the rabbit and even though he was safe inside his cage the poor little thing had a heart attach and died
However we used to bring our rabbit to our country house and let him hang out in a big cage on our porch and we just tried to introduce the neighborhood dogs to him right away and after that everything seemed fine and they didn't bother him when they wandered around our property.
Thanks for all the tips and advice, CC he has seen our kitty but not up close to the dog, when we do that we will have to put our training collar on our dog to keep him in a safe distance.

That sounds like a good idea. I don't mean to make you worry at all but that story was so sad and made me extra cautious about introducing pets to each other!
