I'm a newbie, so I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question...but here goes: Where do you buy the Hanes beaters that everyone loves for layering? I'm assuming these are men's beaters, correct? I looked at Target yesterday and they only had them in Men's L- it appears that the smallest men's size is Medium? If so, aren't they too loose around the chest? (I'm on the smaller side) Does Hanes make these in women's sizes? (I didn't see any)
Also, could anyone suggest a brand of beaters that are long enough for layering yet fitted? I'd appreciate any suggestions from all the experts out there!
hanes makes men's small, which i buy. i think it depends on how you want them to fit. i find the small just right in terms of fit and length, but i know they're too big for a lot of smaller girls, and other girls like them really, really long so they size up.
I get my Hanes mens beaters from Target but I think you can get them pretty much anywhere. I'm pretty small on top too (34b on a good day) and the mens M fit great for layering. They shrink a ton when you wash them. Originally I bought boys XL but once I washed them a few times they were way too short for layering so then I bought the mens M and washed them (in hot water) are they're fine. I couldn't really wear them alone becuse the arm holes are still a little big but for layering they're great. You could always try the boys XL if you really don't think the mens M will work for you. If you're looking for breaters to wear alone (non-layered) I really like Cherry Tees and LA Made.
i used to buy the boys' ones, and had the same problem--too short. the men's ones are longer, so if you want them to hang out under whatever you have on top, that's a better choice. i get them at target.
Walmart had the ladies beaters as well, but I'm not sure if they were Hanes or Jockey or Fruit of the Loom. I also bought men's Hanes, but I bought some men's Jockey ones too because they were colored (black & grey)
