Please help me...I am losing it. First of all, I am normally *not* a bow girl, but suddenly I have it in my head that I need a velvet blazer with a bow in the front (like a tie closure). I know some of you posted some a few months ago, but I've been searching online a bit and can't find any.
Last week I was watching WNTW and the girl they made over had the cutest one on...all of a sudden I NEED one. Preferably in something jewel-toned, like a nice teal, deep forest / emerald green, or a rich rose...but black will do in a pinch.
And I am budget-oriened, esp. since this wasn't on my fall wishlist, so if we can keep the price around $100 or so, that would be ideal!
Any thoughts?

Jess, you rock! I checked and of course, there is no Mexx store in Atlanta. But I can always try the mail order, if necessary.
I have a hard time with blazers fitting me - if they fit in the chest / shoulders, they are usually too large in the waist. So I'd rather try a blazer on first, if possible...but will source through Mexx (and check their return policy) as a last resort. Thanks for the info!
Any other suggestions?

This one's short sleeved, so it might not be what you're looking for, but it's cute so I thought I'd post it anyway! It also comes in a deep teal color.

I saw that one in person at Cato & I think it was only like $30. So if it's a piece you are thinking you'll tire of quickly (ie, one season) it may be a good option. It was pretty, but I didn't try it on so i'm not sure about fit.

Hey laken1, I don't usually buy "one season" pieces...so thanks for the input about the Cato blazer. I prefer to buy items with more longevity. *s*
I haven't been able to find much, and can't get the Mexx one out of my head, so I guess I'll give them a call and see what my options are. I may have to order two sizes and return whichever fits the worst...
Thanks again, everyone!
