So, you know how we had all the tornados and whatnot on Saturday? Well now, there's basically supposed to be a blizzard tomorrow. We're under Winter Storm Watch for all of tomorrow.
Is it always strange weather there or is all this new? Just wondering - I realize a tornado followed directly by a blizzard has to be an oddity, but do you usually have both of those things?
i spent the day in New Orleans today & it was surreal. The weather thing really has my curiosity peaked.

It's not usually this turbulent; It's really only turbulent during the winter to spring transition.
This whole thing is just beyond weird for this time of year...
The tornado followed by a blizzard is definitely not something that happens normally around here; I was shocked that we even had the tornados because tornado season technically ended in the beginning of September, so November is really an oddity for it.
Overall, though, drastic temperature changes are technically normal for here. We get the extreme ends of the temperature spectrum; 90's with 100% humidity and heat warnings in the summer, and single-digit temps with negative degree windchills in the winter.
If you like a clear distinction of seasons, the midwest is the place to be. We hit each with full-force; While the time of year for this tornado-to-blizzard thing is odd, sudden temp/weather changes overall really aren't. Weather isn't particularly stable here, so it could do anything.
But yeah, this last couple of days is beyond my scope of weather understanding, even for here
