i am thinking about rewarding myself (you like how i put that?) with a david yurman piece. i think they are gorgeous- but i want it to be something that i have forever. i'm relatively new at buying upscale jewelry- do you think that his pieces are "worth" it? and what does everyone think of this:
i've always wanted a large ring to wear for everyday. i've tried this one on and love love love it.
thoughts? its a big purchase so i want to make sure i am certain.
I have a couple of pairs of earrings by him and I love them. I think that he makes some very classic pieces. You might also want to check out a NM Last Call Outlet or Off 5th, if you have one nearby. They have been stocking pretty good selections lately.
I have a Yurman necklace and 2 bracelets. They are nice, not really my style though so I don't wear them much. His jewelry style is also knocked off a lot which is another reason I'm not a huge fan.
That being said, that's a really pretty ring. It's such a classic style you can wear it forever. I would go for it.
I have a love/hate relationship with Yurman. I have 2 bracelets and I either wear them all the time, or they just sit there. I like that ring and I used to love chunky rings, but ever since I got one on the other hand, it makes my normal sized e-ring feel puny. That is just weird 2 cents.
Love that ring and love a lot of Yurman's stuff (not all, but a lot). My friend has a Yurman very similar to one you posted and it is fabulous. And I think it is fairly classic.
but i don't have really long fingers and it's big, so i'll have to try it and see. i love david yurman. yeah everyone knows it's david yurman (my complaints of why i don't like tiffanys) but i think his stuff is so classy and i love the mix of yellow gold and silver with diamonds and gemstones. i'm super bias.
my friend has that ring that you want in purple. it's gooooooooooorgeous.
off topic, but: i think when i decide to get married, i'll buy a really ugly ring that my bf doesn't like and wear it so he will replace it. if this one looks bad on me, it might be it!
