HM San Francisco (im a guy)

I am a Guy and I know this site is off limits to me - so my apologies in advance. But I just wanted to share my joy with all you fashionistas!! My girlfriend and I are taking a road trip on Nov 19 from LA to the HF store in SF just to get the new sweater from the Stella McCartney line. My only question is whether any of you girls think we should be extra extra early as opposed to there when the store opens. Is this one of those inexplicable events where getting there with a fresh cup of coffee two hours before the opening bell is necessary?? Your input is greatly appreciated!!! She is going to be so happy when we get the sweater for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One more thing, I think that any women who does not care about fashion, trends, and up and coming hot items is off her rocker!! You girls rule and bless this earth for giving us guys all of you!!!

I will let you know the outcome.

I think the opening will be pretty crazy - so I'd plan to be there bright and early!  Thats very sweet of you to drive all the way up from LA with your girlfriend, what a lucky girl

Good luck getting that sweater!

I would go early, mostly for the fun of it since I have no ideas what it will be like.  Better safe than sorry.  Hope you guys have a great time.  Let us know how it is.

Oh, and this board is def. not off limits to you or other males.  I think it's cool to hear opinions from the "other side".

Yay! A man who understands the importance of fashion. It's very sweet of you to go to support your gf.

Good luck with the sweater! - I agree with the other girls that it's gonna be nuts.

You're very welcome here!

You should definitely get to H&M early.  The San Francisco Chronicle did a huge article about it last weekend, and I know TONS of people are planning on going.  I hate the crowds, so as much as I would LOVE to get my hands on some of the Stella McCartney stuff, I'm not willing to wade through the crowds.

Have a great time in SF!!!

I read online that the Stella line at H&M in New York sold ridiculously fast, so I would def recommend going early.

I think it's cool you're posting on here, you're definitely welcome here. It's nice to hear from a guy's perspective sometimes. :)

My friend at work told me her friend went to HM in NY and everything was sold in 17 mins!!  How do they ring things up so fast!!??

I suggest a hotel as close as possible to the HM on Powell and your alarm set for 7am.  That gives you enough time to snooze and still be there no later then 7:45am.  You would hate it if they had a sneak early openning and you missed it. I'm sure your gf would hate it too.

By the way you should post here more often.  It's always nice to have a guys perspective.
