closer song?

the song from the movie closer can't keep my eyes off of you


on amazon it says boys town gang sings it; but i don't think it's the song i'm looking for.  you cant listen to it on amazon either.


i don't want to spend $25 on a cd MAY be the one i'm looking for.

I think it's Damien Rice, off of his "o" album.  I'm pretty sure it's the first song but I'd listen to it just to be sure.  Here's the link:

Both posters are right--it is "The Blower's Daughter," off of Damien Rice's "O" album.  THe entier album is so great, but this song is my favorite.

Are you asking about the song I posted about?  If so, it is the song that they play on that Sony/Ericson promo/commercial that plays before movies where they are singing it in like 3 languages, but at the end in all English.  Anyone else know what I'm talking about?  Anyway, did some research and it's by the Carpenters.  That commercial always cracks me up.

FP, actually i was talking about the damien rice song.  but i'll be sure to listen for the commercial you are referring to so we can chat about it

It's defintely on iTunes. Just type Damien Rice into the search function. O is his only CD, but he has a few other random songs on there.

As for whether it's worth it...to be honest, Damien Rice is kind of a guilty pleasure for me (my indie friends make fun of me for it). It's good-ish, but maybe a little cheesy. I don't know what kinda music you listen to though. You could just buy that one song.
