I think white would make things a little washed out. What about a dark berry color? Then you could just go with brown shoes.

How about layering the white tee with a denim or velvet blazer? I think you already have these in your wardrobe, right? As for shoes, I'm thinking boots in black or a berry flat.

with the denim blazer and white shirt- i dont have a berry color flat but that is on my list after xmas so would have to do a black shoe .
