What washing powder or laundry detergent....

Do you use? For us, we use that Tide w/Downy - SMELLS GREAT, but it's expensive, so I make Joe buy it!

either all or Tide with the downey ball.

for the 6th grade science fair, my firend and I experimented with what laundry detergent worked best, and Tide and All tied for first.

Kirkland's Best powder from Costco.  I believe it's made by Tide (no Downy, though).  We subscribe to Consumer Reports and they have rated #1 (tied w/ Tide) and the "Best Buy".  It's pretty cheap per wash.  Can't remember the exact price, though.  I've been using it for quite a while now.  It's works well.

ETA:  Oops, meant Kirkland's Signature!

Surf - Ocean breeze scent. I will get Tide if i have no choice, but the Surf is so much cheaper, I usually have a coupon & haven't had any problems with it.

I'm using Target's Method brand detergent now. I really have no feelings about it. My parents bought it for me at the start of the year, thus making it free, thus making it the best laundry detergent ever.

We use All Free and Clear in the liquid form.  My husband breaks out into hives easily, we've found that this soap agitates his skin the least.

My mom got me started on All Free and Clear when I was in high school, but now that I live with my BF, we are clashing on which laundry soap to use.  He hates that my soap doesn't have that fresh smell that his Tide has.  I am the one who buys it, but once in awhile he will go buy his Tide and then I tell him he can do his own laundry with his own soap (he does!).

Tide in the big box, form Costco. We would use the Kirkland signature, but that thing is gigantic and my apartment is too small to be having that bucket taking up space.

We also use All and Tide Liquid detergent as well. And Woolite...can't forget Woolite!

Liquid Tide Free.

SO is "scents"-itive. This makes his life much more pleasant. And I like him way more than scented detergent!!

all free and clear.  i have really sensitive skin, so i need something without fragrance.  i do love the smell of fresh laundry though, so sometimes i get a little sad that mine doesn't smell like anything...

since it seems like iam always washing I have to get the cheaper one alot of time- I found purex is good for the price and it smells good too- when I have the extra money I get tide with downey- but I do buy Woolite for dark clothes and use that on my jeans,  dark colors and newer clothes , my hubby and son does not care to much as long as it gets washed

I use the Kirkland Signature in the liquid form that takes up less space than the bucket.  I love my woolite, too.  Also I'm old skool and use purex dry bleach, too, with every wash. My mom and grandma scared me into thinking that if you don't use some type of bleach, you clothes will be filled with germs.
