Victoria's Secret Sizing
Permalink Closed

I've decided to go ahead and get this Victoria's Secret coat because I really want a pink coat, it's only $109, and I can't find another cute, pink coat.  My question is what size do I get?  Does anyone have experience w/VS sizing?  I've heard they run bigger, so do I size down?  To give you an idea, I range in coat sizing.  I have one winter coat from H&M in a size 6, one from Express in a Small, one from Gap in a small, and one other that's a 6.  I don't know if I should get a 4 or a 6 - Help me!!!  Oh and I'm 5'7, 115lbs, w/a 34C chest.  Can someone help me please!?  I don't want to have to send it back.  Thanks!

We are about the same size. I ordered that same exact coat before but ended up returning it because it was swimming on me. Definitely size down and get the 4.

If you don't mind me asking, what size did you order that was way too big on you?  Also, how come you didn't get a new size?  Was the coat nice?

No, I don't mind you asking at all. I originally ordered a size 6. The coat was nice, really soft and decent quality. I just changed my mind and decided that a pink coat wasn't really practical, since it would get noticeably dirtier than say, a black or dark colored coat. Come to think of it, I could probably have fit a 2. It depends on if you're going to wear lots of layers under the coat though.

Wow - a size 6 was so big, you could have worn a 2?!  Oh no, that confuses me more!  I do have pretty long arms though, so maybe I'd be better off w/a size 4?  I do plan on using it as a winter coat, so I'll having probably pretty thick layers...

If you're going to layer under, then you should be fine with the 4.
Sorry to confuse you! It's just that I live in SoCal and I don't really have to layer that much underneath coats.

I think I'm going to go ahead and order the size 4 - before I do, does anyone else have any opinions?  I hate to nag, but I just want to be sure.  Anyone, anyone w/experience w/VS coats or clothing?!  thanks girls!

I feel very strongly that you should get a 4.
