I really can't go wrong with this right? it should be timeless, right? it's marked down from $1180 to $413 and is in my Neiman's shopping cart... should I go for it? do you think I can wear it in the winter with a sweater?

that's a great dress.  you must have it.  i think a sweater would be good, but for some reason i picture it with a denim blazer.

I have no doubt you could totally pull it off this winter, along with wearing it w/a sweater, I'm picturing you wearing it with a long fitted black suede or wool coat and a belt over it.  Plus its such a bargain, down from $1200 to over $400?  Get it! Get it!

Oh... I love Pucci! That's such a timeless dress- I feel like you'll have it forever. And given the great price, how could you not? I think a sweater and some great heels would make it work for other seasons too.

thanks again for the feedback, ladies... I bit the bullet and bought it.


see - just when you try to implement a ban something like this comes along and screws it all up... for that much I couldn't pass it up though!


I like the idea of a long black jacket over it too, BQ.  Even velvet or wool would be nice... I do have a simple nicole miller leather car-length jacket - I wonder if that would look funny over it or too outerwearish... I like the idea of a denim jacket with it too...


I also have a lavender fur collar - that and a black cardi could look good with it... just the top button of the cardi buttoned with the fur collar over it...


I do think it can be timeless though - simple shape, classic pucci print, a-line to accomodate slight fluctuations of the hips, and it's bra compatable.

LOL you just summed up everything I look for when I go shopping! *s* Only my budget is significantly less than yours...but that's okay - I will live through you, and it's a sacrifice I am happy to make because it lets me work from home, and not do the corporate thing anymore.

Good call on the dress; I think it totally suits your wonderful style!

Noo!  That sucks!  I just ordered that Lepore dress and I hope I don't get a similar email (and yes I had it in my cart before I posted).  Hmm.  Did you get anything else at the sale or just the pucci dress (not like that wasn't a huge purchase)?
