I think I remember you posting about these a while ago. Did you ever buy these?  I wanted to hear your review! :)

Not JMR, but i have those and i think i probably posted about them a while back...

i really like them, though they definitely aren't my most comfortable pair of shoes... so far i have worn them with skirts, under jeans, with tweed gauchos, and with cuffed jeans... jeans would have to be very skinny to tuck in, i think, and under jeans the top of the boot kinda forms a line below the knee...

they are slouchy, but not overly so.... boots are always to big for my calves/ankles and these still fit better than most. i stuff them with tissue paper though when i'm not wearing them so that they keep their shape b/c i am afraid they will get too slouchy as the leather gets worn in.. if that makes sense.

one more thing, definitely put one of those grips on the bottom of the sole when/if you get them... the soles are SLICK! even with the grips on the main part of the sole, i was sliding all around the bar the first night i wore them out

hth!

I bought those ... and returned them.

After bringing them home and asking friends and coworkers their honest opinions, they all said they made my feet look HUGE. I wear a size 8 and I am pretty small otherwise, so they were not flattering.

Also, since there is no zipper, they gaped at the top but yet were still hard to get off when I wanted to take them off.

They look best with flared jeans ... I tried the skirt thing and the toes made me look like an elf.
