I've had a few annoyances today, so I just wanted to vent.  Feel free to play along.

  • I just went to the washroom and the lady in the stall next to me was talking on her cell phone while using the bathroom - um yuck!

  • My co-worker tried to blame a mistake she made on me to her boss and our big boss.  Then when I called her out on it, she told me I was being defensive - WTF!

  • My friend's wife wrote me an email today simply to ask me if her husband was on AOL instant messenger and if so could i tell him to call her because he won't pick up the phone - um huh?!

That's it for now!

This was yesterday but as I was walking to class from the dorm, some guy was standing in the middle of the sidewalk reading the latest edition of our school paper!

I really hate when people stop in the sidewalk and have in depth conversations but that beat all. I always try to brush against them lightly to let them know they are in the way. So dumb!

I have been going to a lot of training classes for work lately. This alone is a pet peeve for me. Why is it no matter where you go or what you do there is always that person who asks rediculous questions constantly. The instructor could have just finished her sentence and their hand is up to ask that exact question. Or they feel the need to ask about every little situation that "They" have ever encountered. WTF ....okay I feel a bit better now.

Oh and since when is it okay to touch a strangers hair just because you think it is pretty? It is like they never got over the childhood stage of impulsively touching everything they see.UGH

on my way to school this morning, I was in front of a teenager (one of our students). We were going down a neighborhood street toward a light at the end. We were obviously not going to make the light, so I was going the speed limit. After riding my a$$, she swerves in front of oncoming cars to pass me (again...this is a neighborhood street). And of course, she ends up speeding down the road....and then stopping at the red light. I got there about 10 seconds later, and it was still red. Idiot. I wanted to flip her off so badly, but since she's a student, I decided it was a bad idea.

No kidding!  This happens to me all the time.  Idiots on your ass, then decide to pass you and there comes the stop light, and within seconds your right behind them.  I bet they feel dumb when you arrive right behind them!

I observed this in a target restroom a few weeks ago, like any call is so important you can't excuse yourself for two minutes.

I can't stand when the women at work (all of them seem to do this) talk to you in the bathroom while you are tinkling. It's a bit embarrassing.

Also, I can't stand when they hold up a conversation at the sinks while applying makeup or whatever else and they are making direct eye contact with you. I never know where to look and it makes me uncomfortable.

I really can't stand my bosses ex-assistant. I was hired to take her place when she moved up and I am constantly compared to her. Meanwhile, everyone knows she's a ditz.

  • The very loud, very agreeable spanish girlfriend of the guy nextdoor who we share a bedroom wall with .

  • The guy who insists on flooring his manly diesel truck everytime he pulls out of our parking lot .

  • Stupid-A$$ drivers - the tailgaters, the speed demons, the slowpokes.  Somehow I always manage to encounter all 3 within a 5 mile radius of my house .

  • People who don't call you back when they say they will - apparently their life is so engrosssing they totally forget to return a 30-second phone call to little ol' me for DAYS.

in the building where I used to work, there was a girl at a company across the hall who was always in the restroom talking on the phone.  I assumed it was because her employer didn't allow personal calls, but ick, couldn't she go downstairs to the lobby or something?

hmm, I have a lot of the same annoyances that have already been mentioned.

*People standing and talking on sidewalks at school blocking everyone else's way, then I have to step in the cold damp grass with my flip flops on.

*Slow poke drivers and road ragers who act like they are late all the time and think they own the roadways.  Here in Texas, especially those big red trucks, argh!

*People who ride bikes on sidewalks and then expect walkers to move out of their way!

*The owner of whatever SUV with a noisy flowmaster on my street who drives down the street at 10PM and 5AM every day.

This just happened to me..

I answer the phone at my job, I am not a receptionist, there is nothing wrong with being one, but It is just part of my job because I sit at the desk with the main phone.  The woman in accounts recievable, who sits right next to me can also answer the phone, but never does.  So when a call comes in for her, I ask who it is and usually where they are from, put them on hold, and tell her who it is.  Today, and usually, she goes "well, who's that?"  I don't freaking know!  I don't answer the phone and say "Hi, who's this, what does your company do and what will you be wanting to talk to Nancy about today?"

Screen you own G.D. calls!!!
