I watched it! It was kind of all over the place, but I'll try to summarize...

- Dan caught the mayor in a three-way, and blackmailed him into not running for re-election and supporting Dan for mayor. The he signed the divorce papers, but post-dated them to force Deb to play his trophy wife during the election. She got back at him by going on a shopping spree for a new wardrobe and he got back at her by super glueing the phone to her ear.

- Brooke still won't commit to Lucas, so he tried to make her jealous at the Tric halloween party. Lots of angst ridden looks across the dance floor.

- Brooke got Haley to dress up as slutty Sandy from Grease to help remind Nathan how attracted he is to her. She fell and spilled a tray of drinks, and he swept in as Batman to rescue her. Then the singer guy came back to meet with Nathan. Apparently, Nathan wants him to help Haley with her music (not sure what his intentions are). Then, one of the final scenes is "Batman" kissing Haley, but it's unclear if it's Nathan or singer dude in the costume.

- Lucas came clean to Haley about his heart condition when she saw him stealing money from his mom's cafe (for medicine).

- To be honest, I fast forwarded through all the stuff about Peyton and her mom. Zzzzzzzzzz...but they'll kiss and make up and become best buds right before she dies of cancer.

Ha ha - another OTH fan. Honestly, this show has gotten so bad (and it was SO good last season), but I continue to watch! I hope this is everything....Ok, here goes:

Dan & Soon to be ex-Wife (forget her name): Dan blackmails the current mayor to resign immediately (caught him in bed with some hookers) and decides to run for mayor. He signs the divorice papers, but dates them 2 months from now b/c he wants to look like a happy family when he is running for mayor.

Peyton: She is going through that whole annoying hating her real mother thing. But after the Halloween party, she goes to her biological mom and admits that she is scared of forgetting her adoptive mom and wants to learn about her real mom.

Brooke/Lucas: The tables turn as a hot girl flirts with Lucas at the Halloween party - Brooke gets jealous. But they still aren't "exclusive".

Lucas/Lucas' Mom/ Hailey: Hailey witnesses Lucas taking money from his mom's cash register. Lucas' Mom asks Hailey why the register is short and Hailey takes the blame. Lucas tells Hailey it is b/c he needs to buy his heart medicine.

Hailey/Nathan: Hailey dresses very sexy to the Halloween party in an attempt to get Nathan back. She falls (b/c she is wearing high heels, lame) and Nathan literally swoops in (he is dressed as Batman) and carries her to safety. Later that night, Hailey is crying b/c she wants Nathan back, blah, blah, blah and Batman swoops her up and kisses her. Hailey is ecstatic and runs home thinking she has Nathan back.

Nathan/Singer Guy that Hailey ran off with (forget his name too): Nathan is in a bar with the Singer Guy. Nathan asks the Singer Guy to help Hailey "get her music back" or something like that. The Singer Guy says he would do anything to help Hailey.

Last scene - you see the Singer Guy go back to his hotel, where a Batman costume is on the bed. Thus, it is prob the Singer Guy who kissed Hailey, not Nathan.
