STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I got mine on Friday! I love them.  I'm still trying to figure out what color tops will go well with the black and teal if you have any suggestions.  So far I've come up with grey and wine.

I discovered 2 things from this bluefly experience:

1) I am a perfect 6.5 in Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes

2) The Bluefly shoe warehouse is approx. 45 mins from my apartment.

So I can buy shoes on a Wednesday and have them by Friday! 

i got mine yesterday...these

they're comfy, cute...the heel is brown (it's wood, with a rubber sole), and i would prefer black with these shoes.  also, (and i know i'm probably the only person who will ever notice this, but i'm kinda anal about some stuff) - the gray part on the toe isn't even on both shoes - it's wider on one than the other, and so is the green above it (vamp, not toe).  we're talking fractions of an inch, but it bugs me. 

so, i think i'll keep them but i'm not as excited as i was hoping.  i think they'd be better in the brown/yellow, because they'd look better with the brown heel - and of course, if they were pieced properly. (not sure how else to say that!)

jen, you're so sweet!  i'm not that disappointed, really - just tired and cranky and all that stuff that goes along with it being 2 weeks out from election day (yay! almost done!) and not getting any sleep...the weather sucks...i could go on and on. 

i do like them though, the colors are great - and i will wear them.  like i said, the thing that really bothers me (the unevenness) will probably never be noticed by anyone other than me. 

i wanted to weat them today, actually, but it's pouring.  and it's supposed to SNOW tonight.  wtf?  only an inch, but i don't want snow!
