Not sure why but I love it. Iam looking for a boot like in the first picture it does not have to have laces, just non suede, flat  and stright shaft less than 100.00.  Where I can wear with dresses/skirts  tucked in jeaans and over jeans. I love the  outfit  but I would do  longer over all shortswink and not the sweater vest thingry%3D400

Love the second picture! Looks so sweet. I wish I could pull something like that off in my suburban neck of the woods.
Check out the BP department at Nordstrom - they usually have affordable boot options.
As a side note, I sometimes wear knee socks with boots that are too wide for my calves. Always thought it was me being a dork.
