If you're up for a splurge, then I would have to say that the JCrew cashmere cardigans are the absolute best. Mmm I have it in 3 different colors and I never want to take them off!!!

I like Vince and Inhabit. Both are mid-range in terms of price (over $100 under $300) - a cashmere cardi is such a good staple/basic I would spend a bit more to get one that will last/not lose its fit.
