I've been feeling blue because I was supposed to go to Chicago to visit a friend this weekend and because of the Wilma drama, I decided to stay behind so if I need to evacuate I can pack up my stuff (photos, bags, favorite outfits, good shoes ) and my kitty cats. Of course because I stayed home, nothing much will probably happen. Oh well.


So I went to Target to lift my spirits.



These are my new favorite candy. Does anybody remember Bonkers... they remind me of those.


Then I ordered from V.S. I've been searching for a pretty, green bra forever so this is a great find. Plus I love all the Very Sexy styles.

 I started working out with a trainer so new yoga pants (VS makes the best ones imo)

Lynnie - I really like that shirt.  It is part of the 05 holiday collection so its not on sale yet.  When it does go on sale I'm getting it in another color.  It also isn't as high up as in the picture (at least not on me I have a little bit of skin showing).  The website has it in black, tan, white, and burgendy.  I didn't see the burgendy when I was at the store a few weeks ago but it might vary by store.  It was either $45 or $48.

was inspired last night by Lucky Mag's pictures of floaty chiffon dresses with chunky knit sweaters over them.  decided to stop by Anthro this afternoon to see if Ritz was working to say hi and ended up finding these skirts for $39.95 each!




bought a few shirts at BR on sale




this one is actually in a slate grey colour...


the BF and I were out of Philosophy body wash so I got us a new scent for fall!  yummm



and a stephanie weissman scarf headband that I got at Henri Bendel's but can't find a picture online of.  supercute and now i can pull off the "messy ponytail with head scarf look"

I took advantage of the revolve code and indulged my Grail obsession. I am seriously addicted. These are the only tees/hoodies I ever want to wear. Good thing my husband has never asked me how much they actually cost because he'd probably flip out if he knew (he's not the fashiony type)

Did some shopping at Rampage this weekend. I'm finally starting to build up a decent fall/winter wardrobe! I wish I had pics, but I don't, so I'll just have to give you a list.



  • Gold leather s/s blazer (like the Twelfth Street one on the cover of the March05 Lucky)

  • Brown trousers

  • Black slouchy trousers

  • Plum (with metallic threads) drapey open-weave sweater with wide cowl neckline and batwing sleeves

  • Pink batwing sweater with wide ballet neckline; fitted around waist

  • Two white beaters (Old Navy)

I plan to buy a few things every weekend so that I can finally have a fall/winter wardrobe, which I haven't had since I was in college. I have no idea what I've been wearing all these years!

i got my bf got two pairs of these jeans at Nordstrom Rack for less than $50 each!!!  They look so hot on him, but i'm kinda jealous because the guys section of Nordstrom Rack is always ten times better than the women's!

I went on a fall spree, like I haven't been shopping in years:


I was so suprised, they are much more comfortable than my Aldo pair.


In black, the Northeast winters make me forget any sense of style
