Even though the weather stays pretty warm most of September, I automatically fall into Fall mode September fist. And, I start making my lists.

Some things appear year after year and I never find the right item, and of course some things get bought up right away.

I thought it might be nice to list a few items we were on the lookout for, so if anyone else spies them, we can let each other know.

So, what will prove tricky for you to track down in the fall season?

I am looking for:

Candy-apple red cashmere cardigan (Boden has one I am considering - anyone care to comment on their cashmere quality?) and I would also like a cobalt blue one.

Black/white small polka dot blouse with sleeves (sort is okay, but all I can find are sleeveless).

Gray knee high boots, non suede for a wide calf

Leopard flats (I am being too particular about these, as I haven't found the right ones to replace the perfect pair I had to throw away after wearing them out).

That might be all I want that I cannot find!

Always happy to inable.    Tell us what it's like when you actually get it.  I think I might like the cognac even better.  I'll have to live vicarioysly through you.

I found a red cashmere cardigan at Lord & Taylor. It was $175 marked down to $103. I have bought their cashmere before, and it is as nice as J Crew. And, $103 is far less than J crew, plus J Crew never has rich, bright colors lately... too muted for my skintone.

Yay!
