anthro shoe review and question

First, the question. the pair on the left are the anthro shoes I have been obsessed with for months and they are finally on sale, but they only have them in 9 1/2 and larger. I usually wear 8 1/2 or 9. Do you think there is any chance a 9 1/2 would fit? Would I be insane to order them? Could I use moleskin on the inside of the heel or something to tighten them up? Also, I just got my OTHER anthro shoes that I was obsessed with today, the ones on the right, and I LOVE them; they are the prettiest shoes I have ever owned. Just beautiful. I didn't realize that the main vamp part was actually satin, but it is gorgeous, and a little darker beige than it looks in the picture. But really beautiful. I think somebody else was thinking about getting them... you should! And a third question, actually... are they too similar? They have a similar vibe and a similar pallette... aside from the fact that the one is a sandal and the other is not, could I more or less wear them interchangeably? I just love how the gold ones look with tights...

depends on who the maker is - the kenzie wedges I bought from anthro were too tight at a 9 and I wear 8.5-9 as well.  but that's just kenzie. 


they are beautiful - you can always take a chance and buy them and return them at the anthro store if they don't work out...

yeah that is definitely true. my secret fear is that if I get them and they don't fit, I will still keep them out of some irrational stubborn refusal to admit that my feet are too small for them. Hm.
