Me too! I hope I like the movie and I hope Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) has boned up on his acting skills for this one. He was beginning to get on my nerves in the 3rd film. I have to say though, even if he's the worst actor imaginable, I'll still be sitting there with my popcorn, enjoying every second of it.

this is my favorite of the books too! i think the three kids had all improved a lot with their acting in the third movie. i can't wait to see this.

I'm really looking forward to this movie! I have no idea what the producers were thinking when they did the actors' hair though.  All the guys have long hair! On some of them, it just doesn't look right!

I know! I was going to say that too, it looks TERRIBLE! I sort of figured we were witnessing the guys go through their Long Rebellious Teenage Hair Phase, which every guy in my school went through at about the age of fourteen.


I CANNOT WAIT for the movie, though. So excited. I get goosebumps thinking about the opening, with the music... eeeeeee!!!!!

I'm sooo excited.  And I agree they - especially Ron - look ridiculous with long hair.  The rebelousness hits British kids pretty hard since they all wear school uniforms until college.

Did you see the Prisoner of Azkaban?  Michael Gambon was also Dumbledore in that one too.  I think that Richard Harris would be proud:).

awww i thought ron looked cute with his long hair


i can not wait until the movie!!!!  i just hope that the director who did the last one is not doing this one too.  i HATED the last movie (i didn't feel it was as true to the book as Columbus was in the prior 2) and i hope that this one doesn't go the same route.

bex, FYI, Mike Newell is directing Goblet of Fire. Alfonso Cuaron did Prisoner of Azkaban.


I can't wait!!! I like that the kids are growing up normally and not in some oversanitized bubblegummy traditional teen starlet way.

Really? I loved the director's take on the movie. I thought they should do him for every film. British boarding schools are always a bit naughty, aren't they? So why not through a little sex in there? Maybe they'll get him back for book 6 - hot and heavy with all the snogging and all.
